Podia Pricing 2022: Which Plan Is Right For You

Need help deciding which Podia pricing plan to choose?

Podia offers pricing plans for businesses of all sizes, including a free plan that lets you build a website, sell digital products, and host a community at no cost.

But the free plan is limited to just 1 digital download, 1 coaching product, draft webinars and draft online courses, plus more.

So depending on your needs, Podia’s free plan may not be a good fit for you.

Also, you’ll pay 8% transaction fees on any sales you make, which is a lot compared to zero transaction fees on the Mover plan, Shaker plan, and Earthquaker plan.

To help you decide which plan is right for you, I’ve put together a simple guide, and there’s no time like the present to get started.

Does Podia Offer a Free Trial?

Podia does not offer a 14 day free trial like Kajabi and some of its other competitors do. Instead, as I mentioned above, Podia offers a free plan.

And the best part? You don’t need to enter your credit card details to create a free Podia account – just your name, email address, and a memorable password.

Podia Pricing Overview

Including the free plan, Podia offers four pricing plans:

  • Free Plan – $0 per month
  • Mover Plan – $39 per month
  • Shaker Plan – $89 per month
  • Earthquaker Plan – $199 per month

But with yearly billing, you save 17% on paid plans. So for customers who pay annually, Podia pricing is:

  • Mover Plan – $33 per month
  • Shaker Plan – $75 per month
  • Earthquaker Plan – $166 per month

Podia pricing plans are populated with features grouped into four different categories that give you everything you need to launch and grow your business.

However, you don’t get access to all the features on all of the plans. The plans are progressive, so each one lifts limitations and unlocks more features.

And while I understand why Podia has structured its plans this way, it can be confusing for some people.

So you need to know more about the various categories, the features within them, and the benefits before choosing the best plan for your needs.

Podia Categories and Features

Here’s everything you need to know about the four Podia categories

Platform

The platform category and all its features allow you to build a website for your business where people can learn more about you, buy your products and log in to access their purchases, join your email list, read your blog posts, etc.

If you’re the creative type, you can build a website from scratch, or you can use a template and customize it with Podia’s drag and drop website builder.

Podia website builder

You can also build free and paid communities where your audience can interact with your business and each other and access your online courses and digital downloads, coaching programs, etc. Members log in via your Podia website.

You can build your website and community on a Podia subdomain or a custom domain. But the free account is limited to subdomains, so if you want to use your own domain name, you’ll need one of the paid plans.

Also, the platform category allows you to upload videos to your websites, but again, the ability to do so depends on the Podia pricing plan you choose.

Products

As the name suggests, the products category and all its features allow you to create, manage, and sell your products, including digital downloads, coaching sessions, online courses, and webinars.

Creating and selling products with Podia is easy. You just upload your content, create a sales page, integrate your payment processor, set your pricing, select a currency, and that’s it, you are ready to make money online.

Depending on the podia pricing plan you choose, the payment processors you can integrate with are PayPal and Stripe. (more about this later).

Marketing

The marketing category and all its features will help you grow your business and keep customers happy.

It includes email marketing tools to turn prospects into customers and generate repeat sales.

You can add a live chat feature to your Podia website, which is a great way to make direct sales and offer excellent customer support.

Offer discount coupon codes, upsells, and start an affiliate program to increase revenue and brand awareness.

And finally, embed buy now buttons on your website to give customers a better buying experience.

But like all the features Podia offers, the marketing tools you have access to are determined by the pricing plan you sign up for. Let’s continue.

Additional Features

The final category offers additional features to Podia customers based on the plan they are a member of.

First up, team seats make it possible to add additional members to your Podia account to help you manage and scale your business.

Note: if you do need to add team members, select your plan carefully. Each team seat costs $20 a month on Podia’s Shaker plan, the free plan, and the Mover plan. So if, for example, you have 5 team members, that’s an extra $100 a month. In which case, you’ll be better off on the Earthquaker plan.

Also in this category, Podia offers support seven days a week, priority support, access to the Podia Creator Community, onboarding calls, and monthly community calls.

Then there are integrations. They allow you to connect your Podia account with Zapier, ConvertKit, Zoom, PayPal, and more. And you can add third party code to your website, including Google Analytics, Facebook pixels, and Pinterest tags.

The final feature allows you to remove Podia branding from your website.

Podia Pricing Plans

Now that you have a better understanding of how Podia’s pricing plans are structured, the comparison table below shows you exactly which features are offered in each plan. Then, we’ll finish up with WHO each plan is for.

Who Is the Free Plan For?

The free plan is perfect for anyone starting a new business on a tight budget since it’s free, and you only pay 8% transaction fees when you make a sale.

Also, you get full access to the website and community builders, so you can start building your online presence right away.

However, the free plan is limited to subdomains (e.g. yourname.podia.com ), one digital download, and one coaching program only.

So if you want to build your website, community, and products on a custom domain and/or sell online courses, you will need the Mover plan.

Who Is the Mover Plan For?

The mover plan includes everything in the free plan. It is best for solopreneurs who already have an audience, make some money online, and want to sell more products than the free plan allows.

It’s also a good choice for new business startups that want to add video content to their website and know their first product will be an online course.

On the Mover plan, you can create unlimited products and offer coupons and upsells to your customers.

But you can’t create webinars or start an affiliate program. If these are features you need, the Shaker plan is a better option for you.

Who Is the Shaker Plan For?

In Podia’s own words, Podia’s shaker plan is for entrepreneurs who are ready to shake up their business and take it to new heights.

The Shaker plan includes everything in the Mover plan and unlocks powerful marketing tools to grow your business.

You can embed buy buttons on your website, create unlimited webinars, and start an affiliate program.

It also unlocks all the integration options and gives you the ability to remove Podia branding from your website.

The Shaker plan is for you if you need any of the features mentioned above.

Who is the Earthquaker Plan For?

The Earthquaker plan is best for existing Podia users on the Shaker plan who are growing fast and ready to scale their business.

It gives you all the features Podia has to offer across all of the various categories, including priority support, onboarding calls, 5 team seats at no additional cost, and monthly community calls.

Customer Testimonials

Before you invest in any online business tool, it’s always a good idea to see what other people are saying about it.

After reading countless reviews and tweets about Podia’s all-in-one marketing platform, it’s clear to see that customers are very happy with its ease of use.

They are raving about how amazing customer support is, and, more importantly, the difference it is making to their business.

Final Thoughts

I hope this pricing guide has helped you decide which Podia plan is right for you.

To summarize …

Podia doesn’t offer a free 14 day free trial like many of its competitors do because it has a free plan instead. And they offer a money back guarantee within 72 hours so if you sign up and then change your mind, you’ll get a refund.

While the free plan does offer everything you need to start a business, including a website builder, membership communities, and the ability to sell your first products online …

If you want to use a custom domain name, upload videos, and sell something other than just one digital download and one coaching program, you’ll want to consider Podia’s Mover plan or higher.

If you’re still unsure about which plan to choose, why not sign up for the free plan and give it try. You can always upgrade to the Mover plan or the Shaker plan If you need more features.
